To many of in Nigeria, year 2020 has 5 noticeable months: January, February, Lock Down, #EndSARS and December!
It is no coincidence that the National Youth Council of Nigeria NYCN Oyo state chapter in her 3rd Youth Summit titled ‘Accelerating Investments In Youths: Assuring A Secured Future” awarded Olukokun Tolulope, Founder ThinkElectric Africa Initiative as the Youth Entrepreneur of the year 20202 in the month of December.
This came in recognition of his entrepreneur spirit and efforts and that of his team at ThinkElectric Africa Initiative, their never give up attitude during the Lock Down and #EndSARS months.was really noticeable.
National Youth Council of Nigeria is a foremost youth organization in Nigeria with many programs that are youth oriented. Tolulope, the Entrepreneur Of The Year2020 award recipient was a panelist on the 2nd Youth Summit by the organization titled “Young People Renegotiating Development Plan” which recorded a huge success as well.
Reflecting on the situation of the world in the wake of the COVID-19 Pandemic and especially Nigeria that also witnessed a nationwide protest against brutality, Tolulope said “Now the reward has come and I can officially say that for me and ThinkElectric Africa Team, it has been January, February, Lock Down + work, #EndSARS + work and Reward months of 2020.
I therefore use this medium to renew our commitment to accelerating Africa to renewable energy and sustainable transport and come 2021, please expect many landmark projects and programs from us
It has been a very wonderful 2020 full of new experiences and lessons to go beyond limits in the forthcoming years.
I feel so honoured and blessed because I have enjoyed the support of many people and I can’t thank you all enough.
